Abstract
Employees are integral to the guest experience in the hotel sector, and a heightened intention to leave among staff presents a serious challenge to hotel operations, as well as to the advancement of tourism activities. The results of this research indicate that factors such as the work environment, interpersonal relationships, job complexity, and employee engagement significantly influence turnover intentions in luxury hotels. There are notable differences in demographics that affect these turnover factors. To address turnover intentions, luxury hotels should focus on improving the work environment by equipping employees with the necessary tools, granting decision-making authority, distributing workloads fairly, and regularly assessing performance. It is also vital for luxury hotels to provide support to both managers and employees, promoting positive interactions among them. Moreover, establishing clear guidelines, allowing employees ample time with their families and providing sufficient breaks can help reduce stress and fatigue. High employee turnover is a pressing concern in the hospitality industry with a direct impact on service quality and customer satisfaction.
