Submission Guidelines
Asian Tourism Research (ATR) welcomes original, high-quality contributions that offer theoretical, empirical, or conceptual insights into tourism and allied areas with an Asian focus.
1. Before Submission

Ensure the manuscript fits the aim and scope of the journal.

Confirm that the work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

Prepare separate files for the Title Page and Main Manuscript (anonymized for peer review).
2. Manuscript Types

Original Research / Conceptual Papers: 6,000–8,000 words (including references, tables, figures).

Short Research Notes: Up to 3,000 words.

Review Essays / Commentaries (if invited): Contact the editorial office.
3. Manuscript Format

File format: Microsoft Word (.docx)

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

Line spacing: Double

Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides

Page numbers: Bottom left

Headings: Use up to 3 levels, with consistent formatting
4. Title Page (submitted separately)
Include:

Full title (UPPER CASE)

Author names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses

Corresponding author details

Up to 5 keywords

Short author bios (max. 50 words per author)
5. Main Manuscript
Include:

Title (no author info)

Abstract (max. 150–200 words)

Keywords (5–6)

Structured sections: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Findings, Discussion, Conclusion, References

Tables/Figures: Attach separately and refer to them in text
